Ken Shaw – The State of My Union Address

A couple of years ago, Ken spoke about his “My Three Questions,” which were “How Am I?”, “Who Am I?”, and “Why Am I Here?” At that time, he focused mostly on the first one, and this talk will briefly review that question, with updates, and delve more deeply into the next two. Or not…. Ken is a long-time Celebrant, and has experienced a lot of personal change during these years. His early influences were Seth, Paramahansa Yogananda, Alan Cohen, and Ernest Holmes.

Since coming to Santa Fe and The Celebration, he has been influenced by Satyam Nadeen (whom he went to work for!), Christopher Murphy’s “How to Startle Yourself,” “The Way of the Superior Man” by David Deida, and more recently, Matt Kahn, “A Course of Love” by Mari Perrin, and “The Way of Mastery” by the Santa Christo Foundation. On a parallel path he has been active on and off with The ManKind Project since 2006, and consistently with George Cohen’s “Brilliance and Bullshit at Breakfast” group for the past 3 or 4 years.
