A certified Senior Fine Art Appraiser for 46 years, Bernard Ewell has an international practice as the leading expert on the art of Salvador Dalí and the detection of fakes and forgeries. He provides expert witness services to federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies in court cases and prosecutions. In the process, he has become an authority on con men and women & the games they play in the art and other personal property markets. He is the author of the award-winning book, Artful Dodgers: Fraud and Foolishness in the Art Market, has taught Valuation Law at five universities & given lectures from South Florida to the National Gallery in Beijing. He has been recognized as the arbiter of ethics and the Dean of Art Appraisers.
