Grand Thanksgiving Feast
It’s coming on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 5-10 pm at NEA, our annual Thanksgiving Feast! Delicious food, warm fellowship, laughter, dancing, live and silent auctions. Sign up sheets are in the lobby for your potluck contributions. We need folks to volunteer their help with set up and clean up, room decorating and flower arranging, and to loan candlestick holders and small and medium flower vases. Come to NEA around 3:30 to help set-up the tables. We also need 5 people to cook turkeys and pre-carve them (the cost of the turkeys may be reimbursed). Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided but we ask that you bring your own wine. Call Sharon Cheney to offer your assistance, 474-6363, or sharoncheney@gmail.com

Thanksgiving FUNdraiser Auction
It's that time again! We are calling for donations of 15 items of value and/or services to auction off at our Grand Thanksgiving Feast on Nov. 22. The auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Can you offer a service, perhaps a massage, a consultation, or personal assistance? Or maybe you have a classy item that it's time to let go of, something artsy-craftsy, sophisticated or fun? This is a great way to support the Celebration. (Donations are tax deductible). Please let Drew know what you are donating on or before Nov. 15, which is the Sunday before the party. Contact Drew Richman at 505-204-0683 or drewling505@yahoo.com.
Some of the items that will be auctioned include: An autographed 3 CD set by Celia; a CD of Balkan Folk Music by Rusalki; a coaching session or reading by Sharon Cheney; a Conflict Management or Couples Counseling session with George Cohen; a gift certificate for one hour of warm water pool use for up to 8 people at The Aqua Therapy Center of Santa Fe, donated by Marion Phelps; an Ortho-Bionomy Body Work session with Tairifa Suloway; a Jin Shin Jyutsu session with Angellyn Rose; two packages of six hand-made greeting cards by Elsie Ripple; a hand made ceramic bowl from Kenya; and a framed lithograph entitled Real Ferry Lady.

Have You Had a Spiritual Experience?
A Celebration Sponsored Workshop
Sunday, November 23, 2-5 PM at NEA — Spiritual experiences—which can include dreams, past life recollections, déjà vu, interactions with spiritual masters and guides, our daily interactions with people and animals, and the difficulties and joys of living—point to understanding the deeper purpose of life. When life is seen as one continuous spiritual experience, the positive and uplifting behind everything—no matter what the experience—can begin to appear. It's all about learning some new facet of love: unconditional, nonjudgmental, giving, and straight from the heart. Have you had a spiritual experience? Watch closely throughout your day and discover just how many miracles are happening every day for you. You will be amazed! Come share your experiences and explore their multifaceted dimensions at a FREE two-hour mini-seminar presented by Eckankar: Have You Had a Spiritual Experience?
