Celia Cain – Songcatching

Most of the world’s cultures know that music (and art in general) exists all around us and the task of musician-composers is to enter flow and receive the music meant for them at that particular moment. Native Americans call this process songcatching and do not limit it to composers and musicians. Instead, all are encouraged to songcatch to strengthen their inner voice and heal personal and collective wounds. Songcatching is a quick entry into flow, a means of connecting with the universe, and a powerful tool for envoicing and loving your inner self.
