Rev. Hollis Walker is a lifelong writer and editor. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and has taught journalism, 
public relations and writing privately and at the university level. She is also an ordained interfaith minister and board-certified clinical chaplain and has worked in hospital and hospice settings. As an independent minister, she performs life rituals including weddings and memorials, offers counseling and the occasional sermon, and works with elders. She is deeply spiritual but not religious. She shares a recent, powerful event in her personal life that has led her to consider issues of connection and relationship in a new way. Her intention is to inspire hope in all of us at this difficult time in our country.
