Linda Durham-Mirrors–Cruel and Kind

My talk is a personal and general “look” at how we perceive ourselves. I share a few short stories or anecdotes that “celebrate” our beauty, originality, vulnerability, and resilience.
Currently, I am writing a creative non-fiction book (tentatively titled) Lonely Women. It deals with courage, redemption, forgiveness, awe, and a host of other fascinating (to me) abstract nouns/concepts.
By the way, my life is completely magnificent. It is filled with a rich assortment of adventures, insights, and opportunities. My partner and I live off-grid in a beautiful wilderness with an array of domestic and wild animals.
I am the author of: Still Moving, a memoir and The Trans-Siberian Railway Journey, chronicle of a Russian adventure.
