Shelly Felt-Street Outreach

Shelly Felt was selected by the Board of Directors as the new Executive Director of Youth Shelters and Family Services (YSFS) in April 2017. YSFS serves more than 1,000 young people ages 10-24 every year and is the only agency in Santa Fe that focuses on providing safe and stable housing for young people. The agency’s goal is to end youth homelessness. When named ED, Shelly had been working with the organization as Director of Finance since July 1, 2015, so she was able to step into the new role with a robust knowledge of the YSFS programs. She is a CPA and has been working with local not-for-profits since she and her family moved to Santa Fe in 2002.
She will be talking about the agency’s programs, including Street Outreach and a new program, Cold Weather Shelter (CWS), which will provide emergency shelter to young people ages 18-21 during the winter months.
